If you choose to participate in the program, you have a chance to spend 2-3 weeks shadowing pharmacists in another country and learn about international pharmacy practice. Debbie traveled to Israel two years ago and Ying traveled to the Netherlands last summer. If you have questions about the program, please contact the current IPSF liaison, Debbie.

Experience Hmong Culture in Pharmacy
We were very grateful to have Dr. Cheng Lo present on the Hmong culture. Dr. Lo is the co-owner of Phalen Family Pharmacy, an independent pharmacy geared towards the Hmong community. One way they accomplish this task is by educating patients in the Hmong language. We learned a lot about the Hmong culture and the types of healthcare disparities that may arise due to the culture.
